Saturday’s child is a blog dedicated to the idea that life is more fun when you live like it’s the weekend and do what you love! Here’s a bit about the person behind the blog:
I’m Aubin, a twenty-something Maine girl who loves a good curious historical anecdote (among, as you will see, many other things). For work I do marketing for a local e-tailer and for fun I collect vintage jewelry and explore the popular culture of the 1960s and 1970s. I live in Portland, Maine with my husband and my cat.
If you’d like to learn more about me, here is a link to an old episode of the podcast “Booty Haul” where I discuss everything from how I spend my money to the details of my coffee mug collection: http://bootyhaul.mainedigitalpress.com/?p=56

Hi there Aubin!
I’m hoping to and it would be lovely to see you again!
Wondering if you’ll be attending the Duchas Lecture at the Maine Irish Heritage Center this Sunday (deets here: http://maineirish.com/)? It sounds right up your alley
