I spent this year’s peak foliage time manufacturing jewelry for the holiday season so before it was fully gone Brian and I took a walk on one of Portland’s many trails to enjoy the outdoors before everything’s covered in snow.
It was about a two hour walk, but to be fair it was mostly that long because I insisted on stopping every half mile to pick up a handful of leaves and throw them into the air like the little kid that I am. Hot damn I love autumn!
I don’t know about you, but I don’t do well with cold weather. I love Maine but not the temperatures so when the leaves begin to change their color my wardrobe begins to change to be warmer. Here’s a run-down of my usual autumn attire on my daily walk to work.
in other words…
Goodwill of Northern New England recently asked me to write about my favorite little black dress (or, LBD) to help promote their Little Black Dress event that’s happening this Thursday from 6pm to 9pm in Portland, ME. I was more than happy to do so, not only because I like talking about my clothing but because their programs genuinely do make a difference and any opportunity to support them is one that can’t be passed up. If you want to attend the event, you can purchase tickets by clicking this link.
Here’s an outtake from the Little Black Dress photo shoot I did with my mother in Cape Elizabeth.
